Anyone who is well aware of the demographic data pertaining to Hispanic Americans can well imagine the importance of Hispanic American Actresses. Hispanics are the largest, fastest growing minority in America with projected buying power from $ 1 trillion currently to $1.5 trillion in 2015. Hispanics spend more money on apparel, footwear, groceries and phone services while they spend less on alcohol, tobacco, health care, education, and personal insurance. The entertainment segment, including film industry is therefore more in need of attracting this group and Hispanic American Actresses have a very important role to play.

According to Reardon, Hispanic customer fashion is distinguished by status consciousness, brand loyalty, fitness, suitability and compatibility of the apparel with ones specific person, love for value, family and newness. They like to spend their disposable income on looking good, perfumes and cosmetics. Famous Hispanic American Actresses inspire a large segment of society and in fact influence the buying trends. Currently there are 45.5 million Hispanics which are 15 % of the total population and according to US Census Bureau it will be doubled by 2050 as it is projected to reach 132.8 million by then.
